Some protists are in parasitic association with other organisms in which the host is harmed. For examples, Plasmodium is a significant pathogen of humans that cause malaria. Parasites can cause the visceral infection or infection of the blood and internal tissue. Entamoeba, Balantidium, Giardia, and Trichomonas are some of the visceral parasites.
