Program Plan Intro
“if” statement:
The “if” statement gets executed only if the condition is true otherwise it will exit. The action that is specified is performed, if the condition is true, else the action will not perform. The condition inside the “if” statement should be enclosed within the parenthesis “( )”.
- The statements should be enclosed within the braces “{}”.
- The beginning of the statement should be trailed by the opening braces and the closing brace is trailed by the ending statement.
- The statements inside the opening and closing braces are called as block of statements.
