Explanation of Solution

Alteration in the reproductive system includes a wide range of concern about delay in sexual development and its performance. Congenital and endocrine disorder that causes structural and functional abnormalities can disturb the timing of puberty. The delayed and early puberty is caused by inappropriate production of sex hormones. The hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis plays an important role in hormonal regulation for puberty. Low testosterone hormone level in male and low estrogen hormone level in female have important roles in the delayed puberty and vice versa.
