Question
Chapter 36, Problem 7AL
Summary Introduction
Vaccines are biological preparations that confer active acquired immunity against various diseases. Effective vaccines used for humans are made up of whole microorganism called whole-cell vaccines: inactivated or attenuated vaccines. Likewise, DNA vaccines are also used widely for protection against disease. This can be achieved by injecting genetically engineered DNA.
