Summary Introduction

Concept Introduction:

The two-factor theory of emotion is a theory proposed by Stanley Schachter and Jerome E. Singer. According to this theory, an expression of emotion is based on two factors namely- physiological arousal and cognitive label. This theory states that a person who has felt an emotion uses the immediate environment to search for an emotional cue, to mark the physiological arousal.
