To name:
The three classes of endocrine hormones.
Introduction:
The endocrine glands are ductless glands that secrete their chemicals directly into the bloodstream which then reach other cells of the body. The endocrine hormones are differentiated into three classes.
To describe:
The way in which hormones affect the target cells.
Introduction:
Binding shows response and the cells involved are known as target cells of messengers. The target cell must contain the correct receptor so that it can respond correctly to the chemical messenger it receives.
To determine:
The processes of negative and positive feedbacks and also provide an example in which these feedbacks are used in regulating hormone release.
Introduction:
The positive feedback controls hormones and the negative feedback is the response to a change which tends to counteract. Positive feedback between oxytocin release and uterine contractions only ends when the infant is born. The hormones are regulated by the positive feedback.
