To list: The three examples of the medicinal value of secondary metabolites.
Introduction: The plants are attacked by many factors such as bacteria, fungi, animals, protist, and so on. There are several defence mechanisms that occur in the plants that block or decrease the infection. The first line of defence is the formation of thick cell walls that are covered with a resilient cuticle. The second line of defence is the release of a chemical secreted by the plant that does not contain any effects in the plants.
