The outer part of cerebrum is called as cerebral cortex, which is made up of grey matter. The cortex region has mainly two functional areas sensory cortex and motor cortex. The motor area of left portion of cerebral cortex controls the movement of right side of the body and the right portion of the cerebral cortex controls the movement of the left side of the body.
