The naturally occurring species of flora and fauna that occupy particular, specific area is called as biome. It is the characteristics of natural vegetation associated with climatic condition. There are nine terrestrial biomes present on Earth: tropical rainforest, savanna, desert, chaparral, temperate grassland, temperate decidious forest, temperate evergreen forest, taiga and tundra.
