Router:
Router is a device used for complex network. It addresses each segment and defines the best path for data. A router is a hardware device which establishes the connection between the various networks to form an internet connection. This connection is handled by routers. Routers are also used to send messages over the network.
Repeater:
Repeater is a hardware device that amplifies the signal it receives and regenerates the signal through the same network.
Bridge:
The bridge is a device used for the network connection. A bridge connects two buses, but the bridge does not pass all the information and messages through the connection.
Switch:
The switch is a device used for network connection. A switch connects multiple buses that are more than two buses across the connection. It is used to connect the segments of the networks.
