Chapter 4, Problem 11WYL
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The comparison between the loose connective tissue and dense connective tissue on the basis of fiber density and distribution and amount of ground substance.
Introduction:
The connective tissue is the most diverse, abundant, widely distributed, and microscopically variable of the tissues. The connective tissues function to provide support, protection, and bind organs. It acts as glue and binds the body structures together. The connective tissue includes fibrous tendons and ligaments, body fat, bones of the skeleton, and blood.
