Summary
During winter when it is very cold, typically, everyone would like to know the windchill factor, especially, before going out. Meteorologists use the following formula to compute the windchill factor, W:
W = 35.74 + 0.6215 × T - 35.75 × V0.16 + 0.4275 × T × V0.16
where V is the wind speed in miles per hour and T is the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit.
Instructions
Write a program that prompts the user to input the wind speed in miles per hour, and the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. The program then outputs the current temperature and the windchill factor. Your program must contain at least two functions: one to get the user input and the other to determine the windchill factor.
(Financials: currency exchange) Write a program that prompts the user to enter the exchange rate from currency in U.S. dollars to Rupees PKR. Prompt the user to enter 0 to convert from U.S. dollars to Rupees PKR and 1 to convert from Rupees PKR and U.S. dollars. Prompt the user to enter the amount in U.S. dollars or Rupees PKR to convert it to Rupees PKR or U.S. dollars, respectively. Use c++ program.
A room needs to be painted that has four walls. The room is rectangular in shape. All four walls are the same height. Two of the walls on the opposite side of each other have the same length. The other two walls on the opposite side of each other have the same width. Paint is purchased based on the amount of square footage that needs to be painted. Assume the room has a standard flat ceiling (no angles nor cathedral ceiling). Input the height, length, and width measurements in feet. Calculate and output each of the following:
The square feet of walls need to be painted
The square feet of ceiling needs to be painted
After calculating the walls square footage and the ceiling square footage, determine which of the two square footages is larger and display which of the two is the larger square footage with an appropriate message stating which one is the larger square footage.
(use a sequential structure and a decision structure)

- (Conversion) Blood pressure is the force of blood circulating against the inner wall of blood vessels. It’s measured by two numbers: a systolic number that measures the pressure when the heart is contracting and a diastolic number that measures the pressure when the heart is resting. Both pressures are typically measured in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) and given assystolic/diastolic numbers, such as 122/88. The National Heart, Blood, and Lung Institute provides the following guidelines for normal and high blood pressure measurements. Complete the chart by converting the measurements to atm and psi units.arrow_forward18. Tom and Jerry opened a new lawn service. They provide three types of services: mowing, fertilizing, and planting trees. The cost of mowing is $35.00 per 5,000 square yards, fertilizing is $30.00 per application, and planting a tree is $50.00. Write an algorithm that prompts the user to enter the area of the lawn, the number of fertilizing applications, and the number of trees to be planted. The algorithm then determines the billing amount. (Assume that the user orders all three services.) (9)arrow_forwardFill in the blank question: Q. - (Geometry: great circle distance) The great circle distance is the distance between two points on the surface of a sphere. Let (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) be the geographi- cal latitude and longitude of two points. The great circle distance between the two points can be computed using the following formula: d = radius * arccos(sin(x1) * sin(x2) + cos(x1) * cos(x2) * cos(y1 - y2)) Write a program that prompts the user to enter the latitude and longitude of two points on the earth in degrees and displays its great circle distance. The average earth radius is 6,378.1 km. The latitude and longitude degrees in the formula are for north and west. Use negative to indicate south and east degrees.arrow_forward(Average speed in miles) Assume that a runner runs 15 kilometers in 50 minutesand 30 seconds. Then Aladdin rubs the magic lamp and The Genie appears. Then he asked The Genie to make such a magical program.
