Histology is the study (scientific) of minute details of the tissues and the cells (biological) with the help of microscopes. Those cells that are used for studying the details are prepared with the help of histological techniques.

Histology is the discipline, which is important for the advancement of many fields. It is important for understanding the medicine, veterinary medicine, biology and many other sub-disciplines related to the scientific subjects.
The histological studies are done with the help of the various examinations and by visualizing a thin section or slice of a tissue under an electron microscope or light microscope. Thus, for accurate and easy visualization, the samples are stained.
