This has generated a huge debate in the country as some people are of the view that they can be seized to be used for community services instead of burning them. The opposition party has called this approach as lazy and think the government lacks proper ideas. Anytime the Minister is confronted, he refers to the power bestowed on him by the President to undertake this task. This has created a backlashfor the President.
