Body Mass Index
Write a
where weight is measured in pounds and height is measured in inches. The program should display a message indicating whether the person has optimal weight, is underweight, or is overweight. A person’s weight is considered to be optimal if his or her BMI is between 18.5 and 25. If the BMI is less than 18.5, the person is considered to be underweight, the BMI value is greater than 25, the person is considered to be overweight.

- Computer Fundamentals and Programming 2 Write a program that determines a student’s grade. The program will accept 3 scores and computes the average score. Determine the grade based on the following rules: - If the average score is equal or greater than 90, the grade is A. - If the average score is greater than or equal to 70 and less than 90, the grade is B. - If the average score is greater than or equal to 50 and less than 70, the grade is C. - If the average score is less than 50, the grade is F. Note that employees may work for fractions of an hour, e.g. 1 and a half hours (1.5 hours). Use the following formulas: Less than or equal to 40 hours worked hourly wage * hours worked Over 40, but less than or equal to 65 hours worked (hourly wage * 40) + (hours worked - 40) * (hourly wage * 1.5) Over 65 hours worked (hourly wage * 40) + (hourly wage * 1.5) * 25 + (hours worked - 65) * hourly wage * 2 Also make sure that the hourly wage and hours worked are positive. Otherwise, display the error message: "Invalid input". Please see the sample outputs below to guide the design of your program. main.cc file #include <iomanip> #include <iostream> int main() { // TODO: accept user input to store the hourly wage and hours worked. // Then, include the header file at the top of this file so you can // call your function that computes a…arrow_forwardRock, Paper, Scissors Game Create a application using (C#) in Microsoft Visual Studio that lets the user play the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors against the computer. The program should work as follows.1. When the program begins, a random number in the range of 1 through 3 is generated. If the number is 1, then the computer has chosen rock. If the number is 2, then the computer has chosen paper. If the number is 3, then the computer has chosen scissors. (Do not display the computer’s choice yet.)2. The user selects his or her choice of rock, paper, or scissors. To get this input you use clickable PictureBox controls displaying some of the artwork that you will find in the student sample files.3. The computer’s choice is displayed.4. A winner is selected according to the following rules: •If one player chooses rock and the other player chooses scissors, then rock wins. (Rock smashes scissors.)•If one player chooses scissors and the other player chooses paper, then scissors wins.…arrow_forward

This is a dice game that involves rolling five dice and scoring points based on what show up on those five dice. The players would record their scores on a score card, and then total them up, and the player with the larger total wins the game. A Yahtzee score card has two portions: The upper portion has spaces for six scores, obtained by adding up all of the 1's, 2's, 3's, etc. The lower portion has special scores for various combinations: Three of a kind -- at least 3 dice are the same number;the score is the sum of all five dice Four of a kind -- at least 4 dice are the same number;the score is the sum of all five dice Small straight -- four consecutive numbers are represented, e.g. 2345;the score is 25 points Large straight -- five consecutive numbers are represented, e.g. 23456;the score is 30 points Full House -- three of one kind, two of another; the score is 30 points Yahtzee! -- five of a kind; the…arrow_forwardNeed help coding in Java Morgan’s Department Store distributes bonuses to its salespeople after the holiday rush. - Personal BestWrite a program that asks for the name of a pole vaulter and the dates and vaultheights (in meters) of the athlete’s three best vaults. It should then report, in order ofheight (best first), the date on which each vault was made and its height.Input Validation: Only accept values between 2.0 and 5.0 for the heights.arrow_forwardNice Number Programming: Nice program ask user to enter three integers from keyboard (java console), the three integers represent left bound, right bound and arbitrary digit 'm', where left bound is less than right bound. Program should print all nice numbers in the given range that doesn't contain digit 'm'. The number is nice if its every digit is larger than the sum of digits which are on the right side of that digit. For example 741 is a nice number since 4> 1, and 7> 4+1. with digit m=2. Write a complete program in Java that Call only One method (niceNumbers method) that will print all nice numbers excluding a given digit 'm' that also entered by user?arrow_forwardC++ Angle Calculator Write a program that asks the user for an angle, entered in radians. The program should then display the sine, cosine, and tangent of the angle. (Use sin, cos, and tan library functions to determine these values.) - C++ Programming Problem: To make telephone numbers easier to remember, some companies use letters to show their telephone number. For example, using letters, the telephone number 438-5626 can be shown as GET LOAN. In some cases, to make a telephone number meaningful, companies might use more than seven letters. For example, 255-5466 can be displayed as CALL HOME, which uses eight letters. Write a program that prompts the user to enter a telephone number expressed in letters and outputs the corresponding telephone number in digits. If the user enters more than seven letters, then process only the first seven letters. Also output the hyphen after the third digit. Allow the user to use both uppercase and lowercase letters as well as spaces between words. Moreover, your program should process as many telephone numbers as the user wants.arrow_forwardC++ Visual 2019 A particular talent competition has five judges, each of whom awards a score between 0 and 10 to each performer. Fractional scores, such as 8.3, are allowed. A performer's final score is determined by dropping the highest and lowest score received, then averaging the three remaining scores. Write a program that uses this method to calculate a contestant's score. It should include the following functions: void getJudgeData() should ask the user for a judge's score, store it in a reference parameter variable, and validate it. This function should be called by main once for each of the five judges. void calcScore() should calculate and display the average of the three scores that remain after dropping the highest and lowest scores the performer received. This function should be called just once by main and should be passed the five scores. The last two functions, described below, should be called by calcScore, which uses the returned information to determine which of the…arrow_forward1.
