The way in which one can be certain that a potential sexual partner does not have any STD.
Introduction:
Sexually transmitted diseases are the diseases which can transmit from one person to another sex partners or by the use of same needle shared by an HIV person.
Explanation of Solution
There are certain steps that should be taken to prevent and identify the sexually transmitted diseases which are as follows:
• The sexual activities can transmit STD. Abstain from sexual intercourse or develop long term monogamous relationship with someone who is free from STD.
• Refrain from multiple sex partners or having relations with someone who has multiple sex partners with sexually transmitted diseases.
• The intravenous drug addicted or user is at higher risk of HIV because they continuously use needles for drugs and may share their needles.
• The higher risk of HIV infection is now a days occurring in heterosexuals.
By observing the symptoms of gonorrhea in which the males have the thick greenish- yellow discharge. The symptoms of Type-I genital herpes are fever blisters and cold scores. Symptoms of genital herpes are ulcer, pain on urination and swollen lymph nodes.
The heterosexuals, intravenous drug addicted and monogamous relationships are at higher risk of STDs.
