Coagulation time is the time from the start of bleeding until the clot formed.Coagulation is formed of clot when the injuries, the injured tissue and platelets release chemicals that trigger the clotting cascade which results in thrombin converting soluble fibrinogen into insoluble Fibrin. Fibrin traps Red blood cells and forms the clot.
