Introduction: Vertebrates have very complex nervous system compared to invertebrates. It comprises a group of thousand to billion neurons having very complex structures and functions as a single unit. Central nervous system of vertebrates consists of brain, spinal cord, receptors, neurons, and complex structures, which transmit information from one part to the other.
