Calculation: Since, the number of rows 5, 6 and 7 have 60, 68 and 76 seats respectively which are in arithmetic progression (AP) having common difference of 8. Therefore, for 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st row can be evaluated as,

4 | 60-8 = 52 |
3 | 52-8 = 44 |
2 | 44-8 = 36 |
1 | 36-8 = 28 |
Now, the total number of ticket in all the 7 rows can be evaluated as,
But according to question the total number of tickets sold for the section were 368 which are 4 more.
Hence, the section was oversold by 4 tickets.
