In an organism many reactions that take place and are needed to be controlled as per their requirement. Some reactions are controlled by enzymes while some other is controlled by the product itself. As in a condition when the product is formed in surplus amount then the product itself binds to the non-functional site and distorts the enzyme catalyzing the reaction of formation of that product.
