Flowers consist of many parts; sepals, petals, pedicel, thalamus, androecium (male reproductive part), and gynoecium (female reproductive part). Some flowers contain both male and female reproductive parts and are bisexual or monoecious. Some flowers contain either male or female reproductive part and are considered dioecious.

Introduction:
Pollination is the process of transfer of pollen grains (male gametophyte) from another of the stamen to the stigma of the carpel. Pollination is of two types; self-pollination and cross-pollination. Pollination is required in plants for fertilization to take place.
