To determine:
The condition that an individual could try to get the seeds to germinate.
Introduction:
When the embryonic plant which is present within seed start growing in the form of sprouting, breaks a dormancy period and forms a seedling then the seeds are said to be germinated.
Explanation of Solution
An individual gave some seeds to a friend to grow in a yard. After planting the seed, if it did not germinate, then the gardener should follow some steps, which are listed below:
(i) The gardener should know the expected time or year for the seed germination.
(ii) The gardener must provide favorable environment condition for the seed germination, such as plenty of sunlight and warm environment.
(iii) The gardener must apply of Gibberellic acid for seed germination.
(iv) Seed should be covered with loose nutritive planting mix layer.
Seed does not break their dormancy period until their favorable condition reach. Thus, the gardener should know the favorable period of seed.
