Chapter 5, Problem 12Q
Summary Introduction

To find: The definitions and relationships of the terms to each other.

Concept introduction: Every eukaryotic organism contains DNA, the genetic material in their cellular nucleus. It is a complex structure looking like a ladder twisted around in a right-handed manner. During different stages of cell cycle, the chromosome undergoes many changes in their structure and that would result in the characteristic changes in the behaviour of each cell upon the cycle. Transcriptional activity and inactivity primarily depend on the changes in the respective chromosomal structure.
