Introduction: Inventory turnover is used to determine whether the inventory is controlled properly by the management or not. It defines the number of times a product is sold by the company within a fixed period of time. Days’ sales in inventory are used to determine the time period in which all the products will be sold. Average inventory is used by inventory turnover whereas ending inventory is used by days’ sales in inventory.
