Introduction:
A cell membrane is made of different molecules like phospholipids, proteins and cholesterol. Phospholipids are a type of lipids that contain phosphate group which are the important component of cell membranes. Cholesterol is made up of both saturated and unsaturated fatty acid molecules. The cholesterol prevents the cell membrane to become more fluid at high temperature and too rigid in low temperatures.
