Introduction:
The cardiovascular system is composed of the heart and the blood vessels. The cardiovascular system which is also known as circulatory system is a system which allows blood to flow throughout the body and transports nutrients, gases and other important enzymes in and out of the cells. The blood vessels function is to receive the blood pumped out by the heart, and to supply the blood to the heart from various tissues. The blood then flowing through these vessels gets transported to the whole body. There are three types of blood vessels: the arteries, veins, and the capillaries.
