Introduction:

Tolman gives the concept of latent learning, latent learning is the learning that remains hidden until there is no reason to demonstrate the learning. To demonstrate this phenomenon Tolman experimented on three groups of rat, and he concluded that the group of rats, which was not reinforced in the first 9 days, but reinforced on the tenth day, was quickly solved the maze, because they had already learned the maze in the first nine days, but they had not demonstrated this learning until they had not reinforced with food.
