Photosynthesis is a process by which carbon dioxide and water are broken down to produce glucose molecules by using energy from sunlight. Photosynthesis process takes place in two reaction cycle: light reaction, and dark reaction. The light reaction involves sunlight for production of ATP and NADPH while dark reaction used end product of light reaction for the formation of carbohydrate.
