Chapter 57.3, Problem 7LO
Summary Introduction
To state: Three reasons why forests, mainly the tropical rain forests, have been disappearing today.
Introduction: Biodiversity (biological diversity) is the difference among the organisms. From the population to the ecosystem, biodiversity takes place at all the levels of ecological organizations. Biodiversity measures the variation at the species, genetic, and ecosystem levels. Deforestation is the permanent clearance of the forest for agricultural or other uses. It is the most serious problem faced by forests and affects their biodiversity.
