Explanation of Solution

Increase of database data that will affect the business Intelligence and Security:

The increase of database data will affect the business Intelligence and security in the following ways:

  • Increases the threat of data theft.
  • Data mishandling.
  • Data being lost.
  • Data leaks.

Two major requirements of the Internet database application created:

The two major requirements of the Internet database application created are:

  • Code to process the data that are to process the internet application that are developed.
    • The data that are created needs to be stored for the future purpose that needs to follow ACID properties of the transaction.
  • Power to handle the data that are generated using the internet application that are created.
    • The data that are generated are stored based on the requirements not following ACID Properties of the Transaction.

These two requirements made the evolution of three databases namely “No SQL”, “New SQL”, and “in-memory” databases.

Characteristics of ACID properties in processing the Transaction:

The main characteristic properties of ACID in processing the transaction are discussed below:

“ACID” stands for “Atomicity”, “Consistency”, “Isolated” and “Durable”.

Atomicity:

In processing a transaction, a transaction needs to be processed completely or should not contain anything in it.

  • Example: If an account is credited by amount the amount must be either added to overall balance or should not happen at all.

Consistency:

A transaction that is established needs to be processed in a similar way throughout the transaction.

  • Example: If an account is credited by amount that amount must be either added to overall balance or should not happen at all and it should at the same time with the account holder and with the bank database.

Isolated:

The transaction that is happening needs to processed is separate unit such that another transaction should not affect the current process.

  • Example: Consider an online transaction that is happening simultaneously, any processing made with the one should not affect another processing the same process.

Durable:

The transaction that is processed needs to be established completely or should be aborted in case of failure...

Examine ways that companies may extend or alter how they utilize databases, based on the possibilities you identify. Take a look at how a database administrator handles security, accessibility, and data protection for a company and its consumers or clients.
Issue: Jollibee Foods Corporation faces challenges in ensuring the security and privacy of customer and employee data. With the increasing frequency and sophistication of cyber threats, the company must implement robust security measures to protect sensitive information and prevent data breaches. Create a database model (using SQL Database Modeler  --> https://sqldbm.com/Home) to mitigate the issue the company/business faces. Create relational tables, and if possible, kindly connect such tables between AT LEAST TWO different SCHEMAS. Briefly explain the tables, columns, and relationships formulated in the process.
You are asked to check a potential data bridge problem. What are the steps you will follow in order to check the database? and fix any problems with it. Have in mind you SHOULD normalize it as well.(1500 words Minimum)
