The rete testes is a network of tubules present in the mediastinum testis. It is responsible for carrying sperms to the efferent ducts from the seminiferous tubules. On the inner surface of the rete testes, there is a layer of single ciliated and cuboidal epithelial cells that has microvilli to increase the surface area.
