Four cache replacement policy:

• An algorithm that is used in managing the information that is cached and is being stored at the computer.
• The four cache replacement policies defined in the text are:
  • FIFO replacement(First In First Out):
    • The blocks that are present in the cache at the longest get discarded.
  • LRU replacement(Least Recently Used):
    • The items that are least used will be discarded first.

    • Chooses a victim and discards to free the space when necessary...
