Representations of a ternary relationship by binary relationships:

• A ternary relationship consists of 3 entity sets that takes part in a relationship.
• A ternary relationship shown in Figure 6.29(a) can be represented as three binary relationship as shown in Figure 6.29(b) or as an alternative in Figure 6.29(c).
• The model of Figure 6.29(c) will not be able to represent all ternary.
• The model given in Figure 6.29(b) is an ideal conversion of a ternary relationship into three binary ones.
• But the model given in Figure 6.29(c) will not be able to represent all ternary relationships...
