Question
Chapter 6, Problem 29RQ
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Frank has not developed puberty till the age of 16 years. The puberty effect is caused by the secretion of the sex hormones in the body like testosterone. The rate of the formation of the epiphyseal cartilage in the bones is reduced during puberty. The bone canal gets narrower, due the movements of the osteoblast cells and fibroblasts towards ends of the bones. This causes the inhibition of the process of the development of the epiphyseal lining in the bone.
