What happens if one first uses trial and error to factor as two binomials rather than first factoring out the Greatest common factor?
Discussion:
If, we first use trial method to solve the polynomial rather than factoring out the Greatest common factor, we do not get any error to the factors of the given polynomial in both the methods, we get the same results.
But, using the trial method first is not an easier method to factorize the polynomial and to determine the remaining factors and it will be lengthy too rather than factoring out the Greatest common factor from the polynomial.
