The Ore leader Achluk has up to 600 gold pieces to spend on an arsenal of axes. mace, and spears for his army of ores for a planned assault on Hobshire, in which he would like to inflict as much damage on medium targets (such as humans and hobbits) as possible and a total of at least 2,400 units of critical damage. As his ores are particularly fond of maces but not particularly killed at spear-throwing, he would like to include at least twice as many maces as spears in the arsenal. What should his weapons arsenal look like, and how much damage on medium targets can be inflicted?
