To predict:
The compatibility of blood types for a transfusion.
Introduction:
In humans four different types of blood groups are found: A, B, AB, and O. These are different on the presence of surface protein or presence or absence of Rh factor. In blood transfusion to check the presence of these proteins are important. Therefore blood typing is important before the transfusion of blood else it will lead to blood incompatibility, that means agglutination of blood or blood clumping which result in damaged of red blood cells which makes the person anaemic.
Blood compatibility is to check whether the agglutination reaction is occurring or not. Agglutination reaction is defined as the antibodies present in plasma reacts with the surface antigen which leads to RBCs damaged or anaemic condition.
