b. 3.33 millisecond
c. 1/3000 second

Loudspeakers can produce intense sounds with surprisingly small energy input in spite of their low efficiencies. Calculate the power input needed (in W) to produce a 85.1 dB sound intensity level for a 15.5 cm diameter speaker that has an efficiency of 2.56%. (This value is the sound intensity level right at the speaker.)
A human cannot hear sound at a frequency of 100 kHz or sound at 102 kHz. But if you walk into a room in which tow sources are emitting sound waves, one at 100 kHz and the other at 102 kHz, you’ll hear sound. Explain.
