The reflex arc is the neural pathway over which the reflex occurs. It is an involuntary, rapid, and predictable response to the stimuli. In the reflex arc, the signal transfers from the sensory neuron that receives the signals to the interneuron. The activated interneuron passes the signal to the motor neuron.
