Concept Information:
The environment is polluted with various kinds of toxic chemicals every year. Scientists have predicted that industrial lifestyles and the increasing population would lead to a major collapse of the environment.
So, to prevent this collapse, scientists and industries are working on various ways through which the same can be reduced and the contamination of the toxic compounds produced by industrial syntheses could be limited. Thus, these approaches led to a new field referred to as green chemistry.
