Concept introduction:
The cell uses the information in RNA and not the DNA directly to make each protein. The DNA template strand from DNA binds with one of the complementary strands of the DNA. This process includes enzymes like RNA polymerase. The protein is synthesized by the mRNA strands and this process is known as translation.
