Explanation of Solution

One of the most important characters of the virus is tropism. This tropism can be determined by replication, penetration, and production of progeny in the host cells. The capacity of a virus that infects the selective cells in a particular organ of a host is called cellular tropism. The specificity of the viral tropism is determined by the interaction between the host cell surface and the receptors in the virus surface structure.

The virus infects the cell types of the host such as epithelial cells, B cells, CD4, and neurons (acetylcholine receptor), etc.
