A labeled mitochondrion and explain the function of each structure.

Introduction:

The mitochondrion is an essential organelle of the cells which takes part in cellular respiration. The mitochondrion has double membrane structure, the inner membrane surrounds a central compartment consisting of a fluid matrix and the outer membrane encloses the organelle. There is an intermembrane space between the outer and inner membrane. Each structure of mitochondria plays important role in cellular respiration.
