Explanation Strong nuclear force is the binding force between nucleons. If strong force is absent, multiple numbers of protons or neutrons cannot be form a bound state. The result is that a nucleus with more than one proton cannot be formed. In the absence of strong force, only force which can interact with charged particles is the electromagnetic force.
