Introduction

In today's society, body image is an increasingly important issue for people of all ages and genders. This sometimes leads to eating disorders. However, it is women, particularly young women, who are most affected by the two most common eating disorders: anorexia nervosa and bulimia. While both involve distorted body image, those who suffer from anorexia nervosa are often far too thin.On the other hand, Bulimics may be of normal weight, but often go to extreme means to achieve this.
