The graph of $f(x)=x^2$ is given by

From the two graphs it can be seen that both f(x) and q(x) are parabolas with vertex at (0, 0), axis parallel to y-axis.

The graph of f(x) opens upwards but that of q(x) opens downwards.

Also, corresponding to any value of x, the value of q(x) is -9/2 times than that of f(x).
