Introduction:
The skeletal structure of the head that protects and support the brain and face are called cranium. There are 22 to 30 single bones are present in the human skull, which are connected by sutures. The skull is divided into the cerebral cranium and the visceral cranium. Cerebral cranium entirely encloses the brain and the visceral cranium is the facial bone. The visceral cranium underlies the facial structure and supports the nasal cavity, eyeballs and teeth of the upper and lower jaws. The cerebral cranium supports the brain and houses the middle and inner ear structure. The detail segments of skull represented as picture below.
