In this assignment you will demonstrate your knowledge of debugging by fixing the errors you find in the program below. Fix the code, and paste it in this document, along with the list of the problems you fixed. This example allows the user to display the string for the day of the week. For example, if the user passed the integer 1, the method will return the string Sunday. If the user passed the integer 2, the method will return Monday. This code has both syntax errors and logic errors. Hint: There are two logic errors to find and fix (in addition to the syntax errors).Inport daysAndDates.DaysOfWeek;public class TestDaysOfWeek {public static void main(String[] args) {System.out.println("Days Of week: ");for (int i = 0;i < 8;i++) {System.out.println("Number: " + i + "\tDay Of Week: " + DaysOfWeek.DayOfWeekStr(i) )}}}package daysAndDatespublic class DaysOfWeek {public static String DayOfWeekStr(int NumberOfDay) {String dayStr = ""switch (NumberOfDay) {case 1:dayStr =…
Carly’s Catering provides meals for parties and special events. In previous chapters, you have developed a class that holds catering event information and an application that tests the methods using four objects of the class. Now modify the Event and EventDemo classes as follows:
Modify the method that sets the event number in the Event class so that if the argument passed to the method is not a four-character String that starts with a letter followed by three digits, then the event number is forced to A000. If the initial letter in the event number is not uppercase, force it to be so.
Add a contact phone number field to the Event class.
Add a set method for the contact phone number field in the Event class. Whether the user enters all digits or any combination of digits, spaces, dashes, dots, or parentheses for a phone number, store it as all digits. For example, if the user enters (920) 872-9182, store the phone number as 9208729182. If the user enters a number with fewer or more…
In this assignment you will use the MyString class that you wrote earlier in this course.
A palindrome is a string that reads the same forward and backward. Write a program that reads in any number of MyStrings from the user and determines if each MyString is a palindrome. The user will terminate each MyString by pressing the return (or enter) button. The user will indicate that there are no more MyStrings by entering "quit".
To do this you must write a recursive function named isAPalindrome that takes a single MyString argument and two arguments that are bounds on MyString indices. The function must examine the part of the argument between the two bounds (including the bounds) and return true if this part of the argument is a palindrome, false if it is not a palindrome. The function must be recursive and must not call any other functions except ispunct(), isspace(), and toupper() (described below).
Do not make any changes to the MyString class (except, if necessary, to correct errors…

The method should only use one return statement. Example of output: days0fTheWeek("2") will return " Tuesday " in terminalarrow_forward
- PART B: Create two linkedBag objects of type string in main. Place 5 strings in the first bag and five strings in the second bag. Then your code must test if the two linkedBag objects are equal or not. You must traverse both linkedBags and test each items to see if they are the same. Then you must display a message saying the two linkedBags are the same or different. PART C: Write a method in the class that gets an item of type T and finds out how many of the items in the linkedBag are bigger than that item. Return that count.arrow_forwardCreate a program that will count the number of numeric characters in an input string. The program should be able to ask the user for the input string and should be able to display the number of numeric characters on the screen. For this exercise, you should create your class to handle the different operations. Remember that any input/output operations should be done in the main method while all calculations should be done inside the class. Remember that you need to apply encapsulation in your class. Sample Output: Enter a string: Hello 123 Number of numeric characters: 3arrow_forwardIn this exercise you will use if and else statements to write some code that simulates a gambler who makes various wagers. As part of your solution, you will use the following parameters that are passed in to the method:A double variable with the identifier money that indicates how much money the gambler has.A double variable with the identifier wager that indicates how much money is being wagered in a particular bet.A Boolean variable with the identifier outcome that indicates if the gambler wins (true) or loses (false)1) In some cases the gambler is unable to fix the outcome of the wager ahead of time and must rely on luck.Use an if statement to check if outcome has a value (whether or not it is null)If it does not have a value, you will need to assign it one by instantiating a Random object and using one of its methods.2) Use an if/else statement to determine if the gambler has won the wager (outcome is true) If the gambler has won the wager, add the wager to amount of money the…arrow_forward
