Program Plan Intro

Neural network:

• Neural networks are based on parallel architecture of human brains.
• They try to implement the simplified version of biological neural network.
• Processing elements (PEs) are the fundamental elements of a neural network.
• Processing element is used to multiply inputs by various set of weights and providing a single output value.
• The power of neural network lies in the parallel processing of interconnected PEs and also the adaptive nature of the sets of weights.
• Neural elements act similar to that of neuron in a human brain.
• All the artificial neural networks are developed based on either the processing element or artificial neuron.
