How the prenatal environment affect the development.
Introduction:
Prenatal period starts with conception or fertilization and stops with birth. During conception the sperm and egg unite and form the zygote. After two weeks the zygote implants in the wall of the uterus. The development of human from two weeks to two months is called an embryo. The human organs (heart, kidney, liver, lungs, and sex organs) and internal systems (nervous system) are beginning to form at this period. After two months, all the vital organs of the baby are formed and the heart starts to beat. This growing human being is known as a fetus. The fetus continuously grows and organs get mature and reaches the infant form. Mostly, the birth of the baby (delivery) occurred between 38 to 42 weeks.
